Today Mariano’s opened its newest and largest location, featuring a wine bar, oyster bar and Todds BBQ restaurant, in the Ravenswood neighborhood of Chicago.
Nob’s Wine Bar, a new concept from the retailer, includes a piano stage that will host live music. The store also contains a Squeez’d smoothie bar and Spice Shop, a bulk area with spices, nuts, grains and granolas.
“At our largest store yet, shoppers will have a chance to experience the full range of features that make Mariano’s shopping experience unlike anywhere else,” Bob Mariano, chairman and CEO of Roundy’s, said in a press release. “Whether you’re looking for a glass of wine and live music, fresh oysters, in-house BBQ or favorite grocery items — our team is ready to serve every customer we meet.”
The Ravenswood store employs 600.
