Three dead in Indiana supermarket shooting

A man armed with a .40-caliber semi-automatic handgun shot and killed an employee and a customer at a Martin's Super Market in Elkhart, Ind., Wednesday night.

Police killed the shooter, identified as 22-year-old Shawn Walter Bair of Elkhart.

“The entire Martin’s family is saddened by this tragedy,” said Rob Bartels, Martin’s president and CEO, in a statement. “We will be offering counseling services to employees today and for as long as necessary. Our thoughts and prayers
