MIAMI - Winn-Dixie Stores on Monday said it has opened its seventh "transformational" remodel here, and its first to feature a bilingual decor package.
In addition to the Spanish-language signage, the store also features expanded perishables departments and a Cuban cafe with free Wi-Fi, offering Cuban coffee and a variety of freshly prepared sandwiches and pastries.
"This store exemplifies our commitment to South Florida guests and serves as a one-stop grocery destination catering to the needs, tastes and preferences of the surrounding community," said Randy Rambo, Winn-Dixie regional vice president.
As previously reported, Jacksonville, Fla.-based Winn-Dixie has been investing in comprehensive remodels at select locations, expanding the prepared food offerings and adding new lighting, flooring and other upgrades.
