2 companies recall 2.7m pounds of frozen chicken products

Frozen chicken products from Barber Foods and Aspen Foods have been linked to 10 salmonella cases, leading the companies to recall a combined 2.7 million pounds of chicken.

The recalls affect private label products from Meijer, Loblaw, Roundy’s, Safeway and SpartanNash, as well as national brands sold in stores like Aldi, Giant, Schnucks and others.
