MILWAUKEE — Roundy's Supermarkets reported yesterday it has launched MPG, a fuel-based program that allows customers of Pick 'n Save and Copps stores to save Money Per Gallon (MPG) discount gas coupons that could save them up to 40 cents per gallon of gas. For example, customers earn one MPG coupon for 10 cents off per gallon of gas for a single Pick 'n Save or Copps transaction between $50 and $99.99; or earn one MPG coupon for 20 cents off per gallon of gas for a single Pick 'n Save or Copps transaction between $100 and $149.99. "All of us are spending more at the gas pump these days, and many families are struggling because of it," said Robert Mariano, Roundy's chairman and chief executive officer. "MPG is our way at Pick 'n Save and Copps of helping our customers stretch their dollars when it comes to buying groceries and gas this summer."
