CEO Laura Shapira Karet has broadened Giant Eagle’s reach with the company’s first market expansion in several years.

Pittsburgh-based Giant Eagle plans to enter the Indianapolis market in 2015 with a Market District store and a GetGo convenience and gas station at The Bridges development.

“Indianapolis and its surrounding areas have a growing food scene, and we believe Market District and GetGo will only add to this wealth of high-quality food options,” Karet told SN.
