Fresh Market makes Dallas debut
The Fresh Market on Wednesday opened its first store in Dallas.
The 24,000-square-foot store, located in the Arboretum Village shopping center, is the first of at least four Fresh Market stores in the works for the Greensboro, N.C.-based specialty retailer. The company plans additional units in Southlake and Dallas next year, as well as a store in Fort Worth.

For the first time ever, IGA has purchased memberships in the National Grocers Association for each of its 1,150 U.S. retailers for the year 2015, IGA said Monday.

Wholesale food price inflation highest in 3 years: NRA
Year-to-date wholesale food prices are up 5.3%, the highest rate in three years, according to the National Restaurant Association.
The augmented prices are driven by high inflation of commodities like butter (39%), pork (22%), eggs (20%) and beef (18%).
