Cub Foods Posts Deli Director

Foods here has named Lisa Koxlien corporate director of deli, a new position.

The position was created by the division of responsibilities for deli and bakery that had been previously combined in one position. Diane Nichols, who served as corporate director of deli-bakery, will continue to have responsibility for bakery. Her title now is corporate director of bakery.

Koxlien has been with Cub Foods since 1992 as a buyer/merchandiser for the Minnesota division. Prior to that, she held various positions with Minneapolis-based Super Valu in its Minnesota division. She began her supermarket career in 1980 as service director, at store level, for H-E-B Grocery Co., San Antonio, Texas.

In her new post, Koxlien reports to Joe Kielbasa, director of merchandising, for 150-unit Cub.

Felpausch Names Bakery-Deli Director

HASTINGS, Mich. -- G & R Felpausch here has promoted Janet Flory to director of bakery-deli, a new position.

Flory joined the company 14 years ago as a deli clerk. She then worked her way up to deli manager, and was most recently bakery-deli merchandiser for the 18-unit retailer.

In her new position, she will continue to have responsibility for bakery-deli merchandising, but her responsibilities have been broadened, a company spokesman said.

Flory reports to Marvin Chamberlain, vice president and chief operations officer.
