Golub Promoted To Vice President At Price Chopper

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. - The Golub Corp./Price Chopper Supermarkets has announced the promotion of Mona Golub to vice president of public relations and consumer services. Golub has been leading the department for about five years, previously holding the titles of director and manager, respectively. With her new title, Golub is responsible for public relations and oversight for all consumer services and programs, including promotions and special events, community relations, customer communications and the Golub Foundation for the 111-store chain.

UWG Taps Scoville For New Accounting Position

LOS ANGELES - Unified Western Grocers said Randy Scoville has been named vice president of accounting and chief accounting officer. In this newly created position, Scoville is responsible for all accounting operations, maintaining internal accounting controls, budgeting and forecasting, financial closings, external reporting and compliance, and financial analysis. Scoville reports to Richard Martin, executive vice president of finance and administration and chief financial officer.

Lindberg Named Regional President At United

DAYVILLE, Conn. - United Natural Foods here has appointed Randle E. Lindberg to the position of president of the Western region. Lindberg served as president and chief executive officer of Nature's Best, Hauppauge, N.Y., from 1979 to 2005. In his new role, Lindberg oversees four distribution centers serving the Western United States. He reports to Richard Antonelli, executive vice president, chief operating officer and president of distribution. Lindberg's new position was previously held by Antonelli, and has been vacant since December 2005 when Antonelli was promoted to his current position.
