Seaway Food Town, Maumee, Ohio, said the addition of several new stores helped lift sales in the third quarter and 39 weeks ended May 25. Sales rose 4.9% to $139.2 million in the 13 weeks and 5.4% to $442.9 million for 39 weeks. Same-store sales rose 4.1% in the quarter and 4.8% in the 39 weeks. Net income rose 97.6% to $1.2 million in the quarter and fell 4.7% to $3.1 million in the 39 weeks.
