FRANKLIN PARK, Ill. -- Schlink Haus, a German wine distributed to supermarkets throughout the United States by Wein-Bauer here, has joined with a major European auto manufacturer -- whose name is not disclosed -- for a "Great Car Giveaway" later this year that will award one grand prize contest winner a late model European automobile. The nationwide contest will also award several second-place winners big-screen television sets. The nearly $1 million promotional campaign, including a radio advertising campaign worth at least $150,000 and in-store marketing program valued at $750,000, begins Sept. 15 and runs for 90 days at an estimated 25,000 retailers in 20 top U.S. markets.
