Consisting of an apple-cinnamon flavor, the product includes mini-treasure chests and secret golden keys that "melt" to reveal green emeralds, red rubies and gold coins inside.
Treasure Hunt is supported by a multimillion dollar integrated marketing campaign, including a television commercial targeting kids and an extensive print campaign directed at moms.
To build trial and awareness, approximately 3 million packets will be distributed via in-pack samples, in-school open house samples and in-market sampling.
Tuna Salad Made Easier With New Kits
SAN DIEGO, Calif. -- Retailers including Kroger, Albertson's, Safeway, Food Lion, Shop Rite, H.E. Butt and Schnucks have begun to carry Chicken of the Sea's new tuna salad kit.
The product offers consumers no-drain tuna in a vacuum-packed foil pouch, a proprietary blend of flavored mayonnaise or salad dressing and dry seasoning.
The kit is available in four varieties: salad dressing and sweet pickle relish, savory smoked flavored, mayonnaise and onion and reduced fat mayonnaise. No refrigeration is needed and suggested retail price is $2.79 per kit.
