Based on research showing that people will brush longer with a better-tasting flavor of toothpaste, Whitening Expressions comes in three flavors: Cinnamon Rush, Extreme Herbal Mint and Fresh Citrus Breeze. Part of the promotional activity will include Cynthia Rowley, a fashion designer and author, offering tips on healthy teeth and gums, as well as tips on adding flair to everyday life. Crest Whitening Expressions is available nationwide at $2.99 for a 6-ounce paste or gel, or a 4.6-ounce liquid gel.
SANTA MONICA, Calif. -- With a dance card full of promotions, the Family Home Entertainment division of Artisan Home Entertainment here is releasing "Barbie of Swan Lake" direct-to-video this week. To support the release, FHE will launch a multimillion-dollar campaign targeted at moms and young girls. A television ad campaign began this month and will run throughout the holiday season on top-rated network programs and cable networks. Print ads also are planned. Consumers who purchase both the CD-ROM and the VHS or DVD can receive a $10 mail-in rebate from Vivendi/Universal Games. Brach's Fruit Snacks will feature special Barbie Swan Lake Fruit Snacks, as well as a coupon offering savings on the fruit snacks included in every DVD and VHS of the film. A coupon offering $1 off all Barbie of Swan Lake hardcover books will be included in all video packages from Random House. Coupons will be featured on the front, back and side panels of 10 million 24-packs of Coca-Cola products. Coke also will sponsor a regional sweepstakes in the Northeast and Midwest with a $5,000 grand prize.
