"We've added a terrific new event -- Monte Carlo night -- which will be held in August at the Disneyland Hotel," Hodges said in a statement. "We're expecting more than 400 people. It's a great opportunity to have a good time while we help this important cause."

In addition, the committee will host a drawing with a grand prize of $25,000. Other prizes will be offered, including a 10-day trip to Chile, donated by the Chilean Fresh Fruit Association.

Last year, the Produce and Floral Committee raised $760,000 for the City of Hope.

The committee's contribution is part of the Food Industries Circle's overall goal to raise about $5.6 million this year.
