Retail growth in Minneapolis has outpaced the city's population growth , SN's Elliot Zwiebach reported this week. Minnesota newcomers Wal-Mart and Aldi are competing against a slew of established chains, such as Cub, Rainbow Foods, Coborn's, Lund's/Byerly's, Kowalski's and Target.
