MONTVALE, N.J. — A&P  announced Monday that its pharmacies are using email and text messaging for automatic prescription refills and reminders.
“We’re committed to providing our customers with superior services that offer simple ways to stay healthy while managing their daily routines. These new services fit seamlessly into their day and remove the worry of checklists and self-reminders, as well as the health risks of running out of much needed medications. It also saves unnecessary trips to the pharmacy to order medication and check in on the status of prescriptions,” said Robin Page, A&P’s director of pharmacy, in a press release.
Customers must sign up for the services.
