DENVER — On the brink of a strike against supermarket employers, members of United Food and Commercial Workers Local 7 here voted this week to oust its longtime president, Ernest Duran, along with 19 of 25 members of its board of directors. Duran had served as union president since 1998. Published reports said Wednesday that Duran intended to challenge the results.
