MILWAUKEE — Roundy's Supermarkets , which operates 155 stores under five banners, has selected the Everyday Price Optimization system, from Revionics, Roseville, Calif.
The system includes category planning tools, weekly price maintenance capabilities, and recommended optimized prices across all pricing zones each week.
Roundy's will launch the initiative with Revionics by leveraging its Analytic Services, which will provide insight into market patterns and consumer preferences.
"Our primary goal in pricing is to offer our customers the most value for their grocery dollar,” said Jason Benish, vice president of pricing and strategic initiatives, in a statement. “Revionics offered the superior analytical and optimization tools we need to achieve our goal."
