Twin Cities Workers Approve Labor Pact

Workers at about 20 Cub Foods, Lund Food Holdings and Fresh Seasons Market stores in the Minneapolis area approved a new, three-year contract Sunday that holds wages at current levels, maintains health care funding and reduces pension contributions, according to local reports.

PLYMOUTH, Minn. — Workers at about 20 Cub Foods, Lund Food Holdings [2] and Fresh Seasons Market stores in the Minneapolis area approved a new, three-year contract Sunday that holds wages at current levels, maintains health care funding and reduces pension contributions, according to local reports.

Under terms of the new pact, wages will be frozen for members of United Food and Commercial Workers Local 653, based here, according to the report in the Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal.
