LUBBOCK, Texas — United Supermarkets here has selected KSS Retail to provide price modeling and price optimization technology for the 48-store chain, the vendor said yesterday. In a prepared statement issued by Florham Park, N.J.-based KSS Retail, Chris St. Clair, vice president and chief information officer, United Supermarkets, said the new technology “will provide us the enhanced toolset to more effectively execute our pricing strategy across both promotional and everyday-priced items while identifying missed opportunities to offer better value to our guests.”
