AUSTIN, Texas — A new incentive program at Whole Foods Market will consider an employee's blood pressure, cholesterol and body mass index to determine how large a discount they'll be offered, according to a Financial Times report.
The maximum discount of 30% will be given to those who don't smoke, have a BMI of less than 24, blood pressure of 110/70 and cholesterol below 150mg/dL, according to the report.
Three other discount levels exist in the tiered program. All are above the 20% off that Whole Foods offers all of its employees.
