Bristol Farms has opened its second Lazy Acres location in Long Beach, Calif. The natural and organic specialty store features an expansive perishables offering and a variety of prepared foods.

Lazy Acres opened in early November in Long Beach, Calif., with a line around the building. It is the second Lazy Acres store opened by Bristol Farms.
Bristol Farms reported crowds all day the opening of the Long Beach Lazy Acres, which specializes in natural and organic product.
The new Lazy Acres features a unique decor package.
Lazy Acres promotes its extensive wine and spirits selection on chalkboards, as seen from the produce area.
The produce selection skews toward local and organic offerings.
A chalkboard reveals the number of locally grown produce items (146) and the number of organic items (252).
The store touts "restaurant-quality" prepared foods, which can be eaten on-premise in the cafe. Among the prepared foods are wood-fired pizza, in-house sushi and made-to-order sandwiches.
Lazy Acres features hormone- and antibiotic-free all-natural beef, as well as organic and free range poultry, antibiotic- and hormone-free, air-chilled chicken.
Lazy Acres describes its produce department as "over the top."
The store features an extensive "Natural Living" section, along with bulk foods, an all-natural-and-organic salad bar, and a juice and smoothie bar.
