SPOKANE, Wash. — Rosauers Supermarkets here and a Neptune, N.J., ShopRite store, which is part of the Wakefern Food Corp. cooperative based in Elizabeth, N.Y., have opened in-store convenient care clinics. The ShopRite clinic is operated by ExpressCare, Cranbury, N.J., and the company reported that it has signed agreements with three multi-store ShopRite owners. It plans to open as many as 42 locations, with 12 expected to open by March 2008. The Rosauers clinic is run by Rapid Clinics, also in Spokane, according to the Spokane Journal of Business. Rapid Clinics hopes to open six clinics within “the next couple of years,” said Jay Molitor, Rapid Clinics' vice president of business operations. “It's a hot, hot concept right now,” he said. “It's just a great way to address some of the issues people are facing.”
