Tops Offers Local Sweet Corn

WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. — Tops Friendly Markets [3] will be offering local, white sweet corn at all its locations for two weeks in August, the retailer announced on Monday.

The “Amaize Sweet Corn” will be sourced from the Eden Valley Growers cooperative, Eden, N.Y. and exclusively available at Tops, which is featuring recipes and toppings for the sweet corn on its website [4].

“We are thrilled to partner with and Eden Valley Growers and Amaize Sweet Corn to bring our customers this exciting, delicious new product,” said Jeff Culhane, Tops’ vice president of perishable operations, in a statement to the press.
