New Website Highlights Progress at Ahold

AMSTERDAM — Ahold [2] here on Wednesday launched a website detailing progress along on its “Reshaping Retail” strategy.

The site, [3], includes a series of videos highlighting various aspects of its strategy including efforts to improve shopper loyalty; expand geographic reach through acquisitions; broaden appeal through Internet shopping options; reduce costs; improve employee training; and increase charitable giving.

The site also reviews Ahold’s previously announced financial performance for 2012.
