NLRB to Hear Mrs. Green’s Union Dispute

MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. — A dispute between Mrs. Green’s Natural Market [3] and its workers seeking to organize is set to go to trial next month.

The National Labor Relations Board has set aside results of a May union vote at the store and will seek another vote. The union seeking to represent the workers, Local 1500 [5] of the United Food and Commercial Workers, Westbury, N.Y., alleged the store violated federal labor law in the lead-up to the vote.

Mrs. Green’s, owned by Natural Markets Food Group, Irvington, N.Y., could not be reached for immediate comment.
