EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — Tesco U.S. here said it is reviewing a court order that would require additional environmental compliance at its Riverside, Calif., distribution center — a process that could take a year. “[T]here is nothing in the ruling ... that we believe will affect the operation or further rollout of the business,” the company said in a prepared statement. The plaintiff is Health First, a group consisting of concerned citizens, according to its attorney, although reports persist that it is backed by the United Food and Commercial Workers Union.
