Ahold introduces Queen Latifah-designed floral collection

Ahold USA has developed an exclusive floral line with singer and actress Queen Latifah that will be available in stores starting Oct. 7, the retailer announced.

The Queen Collection line of eight bouquets and two orchids will be sold at Ahold’s Stop & Shop, Giant-Landover, Giant-Carlisle and Martin’s banners as well as online at petaldelivery.com.

Queen Latifah named the arrangements. A few of the bouquets include Passion Rose Bunch, Hope Bouquet, Unity Bouquet and Confidence Bouquet.

All of the flowers used in the Queen Collection are sustainably sourced from certified farms. Prices start at $10.88.

“We are thrilled to embark on this exclusive partnership with Queen Latifah who is not only a renowned and award-winning global entertainer, but also someone with impeccable taste and style that shines through in The Queen Collection,” Kelly Krutz, Ahold USA floral portfolio lead, said in a press release. “We believe this collaboration will be a game-changer for the floral industry, providing a floral destination at our division stores that we know will be a big hit with customers.”

“I love flowers, giving them and receiving them, so when Ahold USA presented me with this incredible opportunity, I jumped at the chance to create my own floral line that is beautiful, and easily accessible at popular grocery stores, at affordable prices,” said Queen Latifah. “I am extremely proud of the innovative designs we’ve created and the quality flowers that I have handpicked exclusively for The Queen Collection.”
