MAULDIN, S.C. — Bi-Lo Holdings here and Clemson University signed an exclusive three-year partnership making Bi-Lo the official supermarket of Clemson Athletics, the retailer here said. The deal gives Bi-Lo the opportunity to bring exclusive promotions and events, including hosting weekly radio shows for football coach Tommy Bowden and basketball coach Oliver Purnell at area Bi-Lo stores. The announcement was made in conjunction with a ribbon-cutting for a Super Bi-Lo store in Clemson, S.C. The store, featuring an expanded selection of goods and services, is the fifth Super Bi-Lo to open in South Carolina, officials said.
