Food Lion Names Mills VP of Sales and Marketing

SALISBURY, N.C. -- Food Lion named Ken Mills vice president of sales and marketing, the retailer here said yesterday. Mills, who will drive overall marketing strategy, will report to Mike Haaf, senior vice president of sales, marketing and business strategy, Food Lion said. Mills most recently was a vice president of marketing for the Red Lobster division of Darden Restaurants, Orlando, Fla. Previously, he served as senior vice president of advertising with Universal Studios Escape and as a group manager of marketing communications for Polaroid.
