Mi Pueblo Faces Opposition to E-Verify Use

SAN JOSE, Calif. — The United Food and Commercial Workers Union here said pro-labor and immigrant-rights organizations plan to boycott Mi Pueblo Foods here after the Hispanic-oriented chain said it is implementing the E-Verify program to confirm the eligibility of future employees.
