PriceRite Opens First Baltimore Store

BALTIMORE — PriceRite, the price-impact banner operated by Wakefern Food Corp., is slated to open its first store in this city this Wednesday.

The 39,000-square-foot location in the Mt. Clare Junction Shopping Center is the second in the Baltimore area for the banner. The new store will feature several energy-saving technologies, such as glass doors on dairy cases and energy-efficient lighting and refrigeration throughout the store, Wakefern said in a statement. It will employ 130 people.
