ARLINGTON, Va. — Michael Sansolo, senior vice president of Food Marketing Institute here, will leave FMI at the end of this month to become a consultant but will continue to work on FMI’s Leadership Education Forum, planned for May 4-6, 2009, in Dallas as the first of a series of alternate-year replacements for the traditional FMI Show. He will dedicate 50% of his time to the project, according to Karen Brown, senior vice president, FMI. Sansolo’s other responsibilities at FMI, which included oversight of FMI’s research, education and industry relations functions, will be assumed by Tim Hammonds, president and chief executive officer, FMI. “Each of those areas has a strong team in place already,” Brown told SN yesterday.
