PHOENIX — Sprouts Farmers Market is considering filing for an initial public offering, Bloomberg News reported Thursday.
Sprouts is owned by Apollo Global Management, which acquired the company in 2011. Last year, Sprouts absorbed Sunflower Farmers Market. It operates 150 stores and has plans to open 20 this year.
The Bloomberg report was based on three unnamed sources. The company was not immediately available for comment Thursday.
