MINNEAPOLIS — Target Corp. here was scheduled to hold 42 grand openings of Target stores yesterday, bringing its total store count to 1,537 in 47 states. Yesterday’s openings included seven in California, five in Florida, four in Pennsylvania, three each in Texas and Virginia, two each in Ohio and Alabama and one each in 16 other states. Several of the stores are SuperTargets, according to local reports.
