SUNBURY, Pa. — Weis Markets here on Thursday said it has promoted Paul M. Stombaugh to vice president and corporate controller.
Prior to his promotion, Stombaugh was the company’s corporate controller. In his new role he will take on an expanded role in the company’s decision support and its strategic development. He will also continue to oversee its financial accounting and reporting functions, internal controls, treasury and budgets. He will continue to report to Scott Frost, senior vice president and chief financial officer.
Prior to joining Weis in 2010, Stombaugh worked in several management roles at Foot Locker’s financial center.
Weis Markets operates 165 stores in Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey, New York and West Virginia.
