The new store is a replacement for a Cash Wise store that was to close on Tuesday. The new store, at 34,500-square feet, is nearly three times larger than the former Cash Wise Foods and expands many of its offerings. The new supermarket will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. A 5,000-square foot liquor store, located across the street, is to open in mid-June, Coborn’s said.

Cash Wise Foods has been in operation in North Dakota for more than 25 years. In 2012, Coborn’s entered into a joint partnership with Williston, N.D.-based JK Foods to co-own the former Economart, Stanley Food Pride, Tioga Food Pride and Country Floral and convert the supermarkets into Cash Wise stores. Coborn’s built new Cash Wise stores in Watford City in July 2013, in Minot in October 2013 and in Stanley in February 2014. Coborn’s continues its western North Dakota expansion plan with a new store in Dickinson on the horizon.
