John Feray, Dollar General’s SVP of finance and strategy, has joined RadioShack Corp. as CFO, the electronics retailer said.
Feray had been with Goodlettsville, Tenn.-based Dollar General since 2008 and was instrumental in that company’s growth and return to the capital markets, Radio Shack said.
“I believe my experience at Dollar General is directly applicable to RadioShack, and I am delighted to have the opportunity to help the company accomplish the turnaround plan that is under way," Feray said in a statement.
Before joining Dollar General, Feray had been SVP and CFO of First American Payment Systems, and SVP and CFO at clothing manufacturer and retailer Haggar Corp.
