Lucky’s Market said Tuesday that it would open a new store in Louisville, Ky., in mid-May.
The 30,500-square-foot store at the Forum Center, will be the sixth location for Lucky’s, the Boulder, Colo.-based natural and organic specialty store. Locations outside St. Louis in Ellisville and Rock Hill, Mo., are scheduled to open later this year, and the chain’s Columbia, Mo., store opened earlier this year.
Louisville shoppers will find a wide selection of organic, specialty and gluten-free items at the store, as well as house-made deli items; in-house cured and smoked bacon; local produce; fresh meats and seafood; a salad bar, beer, wine and spirits; and an in-store bakery. Free wellness activities and store “walkabouts” (for gluten-free and other food categories) are other features of Lucky’s stores, the company said.
