Time to engage with digital, says Bishop at PSU Forum

"Digital influence can build a competitive advantage, but 'job one' is to close the gap that exists between what you deliver in store versus the online experience,” said Brick Meets Click chief architect Bill Bishop.

Supermarket operators need to join the digital conversation immediately “because it’s happening whether you’re there or not,” Bill Bishop told the 2014 Executive Forum sponsored by Portland State University.

“Tomorrow is too late to begin leveraging digital influence,” he declared.
