Wegmans Food Markets said customers would be able to link their Shoppers Club loyalty accounts to Apple Pay starting this fall.
Once the feature launches, shoppers paying with Apple Pay using an iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus will automatically be awarded any applicable Shoppers Club discounts.
“Efficient, accurate, private and secure checkout is important to us because it is important to our customers, and Apple Pay has delivered,” Jo Natale, Wegmans VP of media relations, said in a press release. “Our customers will be thrilled to hear that they will soon be able to redeem Shoppers Club discounts while using Apple Pay.”
