PLEASANTON, Calif. — Safeway is helping shoppers plan a memorable New Year's Eve party without breaking the bank with tips from entertaining expert Debi Lilly and Jeff Anderson, executive chef of Safeway’s Culinary Kitchens.
Lilly suggests setting up a cocktails and sweets bar with a white theme using Debi Lilly Design candle holders and Illusion Vases; tying Debi Lilly Double Faced Satin Ribbon around the stem of glassware; and sprinkling the buffet line with white rose petals.
Anderson suggests cocktails made with private-label ingredients for a fun and affordable alternative to traditional champagne. “Products like O Organics Frozen Raspberries make for a tasty Kir Royale, Safeway Seltzer Water gives a Pomegranate Rickey a festive fizz and Eating Right Cranberry-Raspberry Juice Cocktail Light brings the focus in for a delicious non-alcoholic Cranberry-Raspberry Spritzer,” Anderson said in a press release. The recipes can be found on the Safeway Holiday Inspirations website
