SN's annual Technology Excellence Awards competition is open for nominations. Awards will once again be presented in the categories of Chain Retailer, Wholesaler and Independent Retailer.
Nominations are welcome from anyone in the food distribution industry, and companies may nominate themselves. SN editors will select the winners based on nominations as well as industry reporting and consultations with industry experts.
Winners in 2009 were Price Chopper Supermarkets in the chain category, wholesaler Bozzuto's and independent Market of Choice.
The 2010 awards will be presented during the Food Marketing Institute’s FMI/Marketechnics Show, May 10-13 in Las Vegas, and winning companies will be profiled in an upcoming issue of SN. The deadline for submitting nominations is March 22.
