Smart & Final Promotes Private Label

COMMERCE, Calif. — Non-membership warehouse grocer Smart & Final is promoting its First Street private label with a sweepstakes that will reward five grand-prize winners a one-year supply of First Street pasta and a $500 SmartCash gift card.

Shoppers who buy any two First Street products through May 15 will receive a code on their receipt. They can enter the code at www.smartandfinal.com/fscompare to join the “The First Street Compare & Save” contest.

In addition to the five grand prizes, Smart & Final will also give away 10 $100 SmartCash gift cards and 10 bags filled with groceries (value over $50) plus a $50 SmartCash gift card.

Another way Smart & Final is promoting First Street is with a social media campaign that asks a group of mommy bloggers to compare a selection of First Street products to the national brand counterpart. The blogs can be viewed at www.smartandfinal.com/fscompare.

Internally, the store manager that grows First Street sales the most will win a cash prize. The promotion kicked off April 18.
