Top 75 North American Food Retailers Supervalu and Metro both jumped in this year's Top 75 following acquisitions Supervalu, which moved up four places to No. 5, acquired 1,124 stores in the Albertsons breakup, while Metro, which purchased A&P's Canadian division, rose five places to 15th. Acquisitions also elevated Save Mart and Associated Wholesalers Inc. In the sales column: a=actual and e=estimate.

Top 75 North American Food Retailers
