As the grocery business continues to radically transform, the driving forces of change are centered on processes, procedures and people. But the greatest of these is people, and never more so than the present, when stellar talent and fearless leadership are the defining benchmarks by which organizations can best be measured. WGB is thus proud to present its 2019 Grocery Game Changers, which, for the second year, spotlights a contingent of the most influential leaders in food retailing today, courtesy of nominations submitted on their behalf during an open call for entries over the summer. The 20 leaders showcased herein are demonstrably striving to improve the grocery business in a plethora of ways, including ambitious next-generation sustainability platforms, digital commerce, in-store experiences and even gutsy revised gun policies.
