Stop & Shop Game Nets $2.5M for Charity

QUINCY, Mass. — Stop & Shop here said Tuesday that its “Triple Winner” game this year generated $2.5 million to benefit the Stop & Shop Family Pediatric Brain Tumor Clinic at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

Shoppers at Stop & Shop between April 15 and July 14 who contributed $1 to Dana-Faber’s Jimmy Fund received a scratch card awarding products, coupons or cash prizes. Stop & Shop in partnership with the Boston Red Sox has raised more than $52 million for the fund over the last 21 years.
