Some of the sports featured that day included skateboarding and BMX bicycle maneuvers in a huge half-pipe.
Also on hand were a masterful hula hoop pro and two 300-pound strongmen, who pulled two POWERade tractor-trailers down Manhattan's 17th street.
This incarnation of the beverage includes a new formula containing vitamins B3, B6 and B12, which play a role in energy metabolism. Also added to the line is POWERade Light, with 50% fewer calories than the leading sports drink.
