Ahold USA, Parsippany, N.J., has signed a preferred-vendor agreement with Checkpoint Systems, Thorofare, N.J., for using electronic article surveillance technology in its U.S. chains. Edwards Super Food Stores, Windsor Locks, Conn., may begin testing the technology next year. An item in the Dec. 13 issue of IS Solutions, an SN technology newsletter, misstated this information.
