SAN DIEGO -- Jim Donnelly, president, General Merchandise Services, Bellefontaine, Ohio, received the 2001 Lifetime Achievement Award at the General Merchandise Distributors Council GM Marketing Conference here earlier this month. Thanking GMDC President Dave McConnell, Donnelly said, "We've got a great leader, we've got a great organization and we've got a great staff, and it takes a lot of us working together." Donnelly joined what was then called Super Foods 36 years ago and has been president of GMS, a division of Nash Finch, since 1978.
